Membership is open to all persons interested in tropical biology. Members receive BIOTROPICA, and are allowed annually 10 free published pages in BIOTROPICA.

The Clifford Evans Fund was established to provide subscription grants for the ATBC journal BIOTROPICA, (including ). Individuals and libraries in developing countries may apply to the ATBC for one-year renewable subscription grants. If you are interested in receiving this award, please forward an application via email to ATBC Executive Secreatry Elizabeth Losos at elosos@duke.edu, and Blackwell Assistant Editor Jennifer Lynch at jlynch@bos.blackwellpublishing.com. Your application should detail a brief justification for the award, the number of individuals who will have access to the journals, and an indication of the other library resources currently available at the site (for institutions, libraries, and laboratories). Submissions are due by October 31 for the following year subscription, and will be announced by January 15. Award recipients must reapply every year. Be sure to include a complete mailing address.
